KORGIS in KARDIFF!

Playing the very first show of our new Set, we headed to the outskirts of Cardiff on 1st November, to a wonderfully atmospheric venue called Acapela - which is a converted Chapel, with a pulpit downstairs and typical chapel balcony seating upstairs - it was wonderful! They also cook up some very tasty home-baked pizza !

There were about 120 (nicely fed) people in the audience but it still felt very up close and intimate. We also debuted our talented new keyboard vertuoso, Nigel Hart, who did wonderful synthy things.

As part of the new Set, our techie whizz, Al Steele, decided to try out multi-screens (including his own flat-screen TV!) to display the background videos to selected songs - as a projector screen wasn't possible here...and it looked rather effective for a close-up audience.

It was a daring new Set with a great opening and a medley to close the first half. It had surprises, even a 'boy-band' number for jolliment, and I even remembered most of the words. All in all a wonderful evening x
